2005-2006 Fantasy Hockey League Commemorative Yearbook
******************************************************
With the FHL's 12th season a year late in arriving, perhaps nobody knew what to expect.
Would the excitement will be there a year removed from the league? Fortunately, it
appeared to be there in spades. This season saw great races, invigorated new owners,
and a highly entertaining playoff run and eventual final matchup between two great
teams. Congratulations to the retiring Mike Roth and his Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on
capturing their first Duteau Cup. It was a hard fought battle against a worthy
opponent in Paul Myers, who guided his New Jersey Devils to the finals for the first
time. Congratulations also to Bryce Levine, whose St. Louis Blues established a new
league mark for most GStat. In a year that required some re-adjusting for everyone,
many thanks are given to Paul (stats), Mike (auction.. what am I going to do in
September?), Daniel (web), Sonny (Olympics), Mark (email), and Dave Moore (HoF) for
their dedication, time, and energy. I hope everyone had a great season and I look
forward to seeing everyone again in September.
